“At Kents Hill, perseverance means being able to do your best when your back is against the wall. Whether on the athletic field or in the classroom, it means being able to find some way to put all your effort into what it is you are doing. No matter how bad the game is going or how hard the topic is you have to write about in class, you will give it your all and do your best because that is the right thing to do; and at the end of it all you have to be happy with yourself, your effort, and your performance.”
