Post Season Honors for Boys Lacrosse

Kents Hill was delighted to learn that senior and varsity lacrosse player Huyette Spring earned US Lacrosse Academic All American Honors this spring.  This is the first time a Kents Hill player has earned such an honor in recent memory.

Senior Ali Finnegan completes Sugarloaf Marathon

Ali Finnegan spent the spring season training for the Sugarloaf Marathon. With support and guidance from Mrs. Pulsifer, who was also training for the marathon, Ali set a goal of finishing in under 5 hours. On Sunday, May 18th, Ali ran the marathon and finished in 4 hours and 22 minutes, smashing her goal! Mrs. Pulsifer ran an outstanding race as well, finishing in 3 hours and 30 minutes and placing 7th overall for the women. Congratulations to Ali and Mrs. Pulsifer!
Boys varsity lacrosse makes New England small schools tournament

The Kents Hill varsity boys' lacrosse team earned the 3rd seed in the 2008 New England small schools lacrosse tournament. The Huskies faced 6th seeded Bancroft School in the 1st round at the neutral site of Berwick Academy. Kents Hill came out strong and worked together as a team, using a well-balanced and patient attack to earn an 11-6 victory. 5 players scored 2 goals each and 3 had 3 points total. Mike Tifft, Huyette Spring, and Nick Delp had 2 goals and 1 assist each. Jon-Mike Roy and Brian Fleming had 2 goals, while Eric Drew potted 1. Cody Southiere, Nick Kolb, Charlie Stevens, and Austin Keiser all had 1 assist. Jake Cockrell made 9 saves and gave up only 3 goals before giving way to John Kennedy who had 2 saves.
