Every week the entire community engages in active discussions about issues that affect our lives through the Community Life Program. Students and faculty engage in stimulating and frank conversations on such topics as:
- Living and Working Together as a Community
- Working Through Difficult Circumstances
- "Bystanders:" Looking out for All Members of our Community
- Handling the Thrill of Victory and the Agony of Defeat
- Is there Such a Thing as a "Human Right?"
- Is it "A Wonderful Life?" – Considering the Less Fortunate
- Environmental Awareness and Stewardship
- The Global Community at Kents Hill
- Challenging Myths and Confronting Behaviors
- Standing up for and Acting on Your Beliefs
- Saying Goodbye: Coping with Friends Leaving and/or Graduating
The school also helps students connect with various local faith communities for special holidays and family weekends. The chaplain and other faculty assist students who take initiative to form campus faith groups. Students are always welcome for worship and community events at Readfield United Methodist Church, a short walk from campus and the home church of Kents Hill's chaplain, Rev. Karen Munson. Rev. Munson is also available for spiritual counseling.
