On a beautiful 400-acre campus, with spectacular sunsets over Mount Washington and loons calling on the lake; with Sugarloaf in the distance and the cities of Portland and Bangor within an hour and a half's ride; Kents Hill School offers students a superb location, strong community resources and myriad opportunities to learn, live and play in a caring, supportive environment.
All students, boarding and day, belong to one of five residence halls, where students have a variety of choices among singles, doubles and suite style rooms. At least two faculty families reside in each residence hall, and faculty supervise residence halls each night and every weekend. Regular residence hall meetings occur on a bi-weekly basis and provide students with a forum to discuss residential life topics, residence hall policies and day to day living issues with faculty and student leaders.
Every weekday, the Bookstore is open, providing a variety of school, grocery and personal items for sale. Laundry services are available through an off-campus service with pick-up/delivery to each residence hall; laundry facilities are also available in each residence hall. Meals are provided on campus by SAGE Dining Services, who make every effort to provide innovative menus and a variety of offerings which are sensitive to cultural and medical issues.
The school also helps students connect with various local faith communities for special holidays and family weekends. The chaplain and other faculty assist students who take initiative to form campus faith groups. Students are always welcome for worship and community events at Readfield United Methodist Church, a short walk from campus and the home church of Kents Hill's chaplain, Rev. Karen Munson. Rev. Munson is also available for spiritual counseling.
Walk around the campus any evening and see students:

- Baking cookies and watching TV in a faculty apartment...
- Working in the library on the literary magazine...
