Spring Community Service Day

Each spring and fall, the Kents Hill students and faculty head out to make a difference. Community Service Day affords the opportunity to meet many local community needs and to grow through the experience. During the day, students and faculty can be found making a difference at organizations such as:
  • Tumbledown Mountain trails in Weld
  • Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Boothbay
  • Bread of Life Soup Kitchen, Augusta
  • Cohen Senior Center, Hallowell
  • Cohen Senior Center Mural Project, Hallowell
  • Bread of Life Homeless Shelter, Augusta
  • PineTree State Arboretum, Augusta
  • Augusta Nature Trail, Augusta
  • Rural Community Action Missionary, Leeds
  • Mt. Pisgah Bike Trails, Winthrop
  • Mt. Vernon Elementary School
  • Goodwill Industries in Augusta
  • Gardiner Alzheimer Unit
  • Fayette Wildlife Habitat Project, Fayette
  • Camp Bearnstow, Parker Pond

KENTS HILL IN SLIDELL, LA, TO HELP HURRICANE KATRINA AND RITA VICTIMS



March 2008:  Kents Hill students and faculty spent their third spring break with members of the Readfield United Methodist Church in Slidell, LA, working on homes still in need of repair following the hurricanes of 2005.  This is part of a five year UMCOR project.
