Celebrating sportsmanship, team work and a love of field hockey

Each year Kents Hill School sponsors the Maine Middle School Field Hockey Jamboree, inviting each middle school in Maine to send a field hockey team for a day of round-robin field hockey.

JAMBOREE 2007 IS CANCELLED.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, Jamboree 2007 will be postponed until next year.  Stay tuned for news of next year's event.

• Many different schools, from all over Maine, participate each year, bringing over 500 girls together to play field hockey
• Volunteer officials representing the Maine Field Hockey Umpires Association and field hockey alumnae of Kents Hill School umpire the games
• Sponsored by Kents Hill School Varsity and Junior Varsity teams as part of their commitment to service in their community
• No fee is charged for participation
• Open to any middle school in Maine

The following middle schools have sent teams in past years: Camden-Rockport, Mt. View of Thorndike, Telestar of Bethel, St. Mary's of Augusta, Scarborough, Mountain Valley of Mexico, Mt. Ararat, Millinocket, Livermore Falls, Jay, Hermon, Hall-Dale, Gardiner, Central of Corinth, Buker of Augusta, Maranacook, Molly Ockett of Fryeburg, Winthrop, Sanford, Windham, Troy Howard of Belfast, Bruce Whittier of Poland and Bonny Eagle of West Buxton.
